A long overdue update!

Hooray! I'm finally updating my blog! I know it's been awhile so here's a bunch of random pictures from the past month or so.

We went to Lagoon for Cody's work party, but were very disappointed to find out that Brockton is too small for all the kid rides. It was really disappointing considering at Disneyland he could ride a majority of the rides. Oh well, we enjoyed the train.

Who says boys can't dress up? I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Brockton sure loves shoes! haha

We went shopping at the Gateway and let Brockton run through the fountains. After getting splashed by surprise he wasn't sure if he like them or was afraid of them.

And of course you can't go to Gateway and not get Ben & Jerry's! I love me some cheesecake ice cream!

Cody and Brockton waiting for the West Point 4th of July parade to start!

Brockton LOVED collecting all the candy! He's so darn cute!

After the parade we went to West Point park, and of course I had to have cotton candy!!! We entered Brockton in the baby contest again, but unfortunately it was during nap time and he wasn't too happy. We were a little sad since last year he won, but all he wanted to do was go play on the playground instead of getting judged. haha I don't blame the poor little guy!

If you donated to the wildlife refuge you could get your picture taken with these nasty snakes. Of course Brockton liked them!

That was pretty much the extent of our 4th of July. Unfortunately Cody and I worked that night, but we aren't really into the whole watching fireworks thing anyways... it turned out to be a fun day!! Oh yeah, and Cody won the pizza eating contest at the park! They had to eat a whole pizza the fastest! It was pretty gross! Brockton was super fussy during this so i didn't get any pictures. Sorry babe! I Hope everyone else had a fabulous 4th as well!

New Do!

Yep, today I cut 8+ inches of hair off!!! I can't believe I actually did it! I've been debating about doing it for the past couple of months and finally I went and had it done this morning. I had to do today before I talked myself back out of it. haha I feel like I look a little older/mature. Hopefully now people will stop assuming I'm 16. haha

Yesterday I went shopping and got Brockton the cutest swim suit and 2 pairs of flip flops! I made him model them for me :]

I hope Brockton stays this determined the rest of his life :]

His new "silly face" he is always doing!

I need to get my sewing machine back from my mom so I can start making stuff for baby #2. haha no I'm not pregnant, but I can get an early start on things, right?!? ;)

I've finally done it!!!

I'm gonna toot my own horn for a minute... Sixteen months later and the weight is finally off!!! I seriously had no idea it was going to be so difficult to lose all 45 pounds of my baby weight! haha Yeah I know I gained a ton, and next time it definatelly WON'T be like that! I'm so happy to be able to fit into all the clothes I wore on my honeymoon, and before getting married. Even though I'm back down to the same weight, my body is definately different... I don't know how to describe it though. A few months after I had Brockton I definately thought I was going to be fat the rest of my life haha I know that sounds lame, but it was really depressing. I think the thing that pushed me the most to lose all the weight was the fact that I promised myself I couldn't have another baby until it was all gone. I didn't want to pile weight on top of weight, because then I would probably never lose it. As promised a few months ago, I would post a picture of myself once all the weight was gone... so here's a picture of me today :]

I wasn't joking!

I wasn't joking when I said BRockton was destructive! While doing the dishes this morning Brockton was playing with my nail polish bottles, he likes to line them up. Well somehow Brockton figured out how to open one of the bottles and he dumped it all over my bedroom carpet. He also decided to paint his belly and hands. I'm so mad at myself for letting him play with them, but I honestly didn't think he would be able to open them!!! It's a good thing we were planning on replacing the carpet before we sell our condo... silly boy!

Looked at his painted belly :]

Easter & Marley

The Easter Bunny ended up bringing Brockton a basketball hoop and a golf set! Whenever Cody would watch basketball on tv Brockton would always say "ball ball!" and get super excited. Well somehow he figured out that basketball hoops are for balls, and now whenever he sees a basketball hoop even if we are just driving by one, he has to yell "ball!" I think it makes Cody very happy that he has a natural intrest in sports. Also he can already hit his golf balls with the clubs. Of course not the correct form, but still very impressive for a 16 month old. The Easter Bunny also brought Cody and I new running shoes, and the entire family got the movies Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty. We went to an egg hunt on Saturday morning, but I forgot my camera :[ Luckily Cody's mom came and she took pictures so check out Mary Ann's blog Sorry Cody and I look a little unfabulous, because we had just exercised :]

After watching the movie Marley and Me Cody decided Brockton's new nickname was going to be Marley since he deystroys everything in sight.

I went to go blow dry my hair and I come out to the living room to find all the movies out of the drawer and him standing in it to get closer to the tv. silly boy!

Brockton figured out how to climb on the kitchen chairs and then on to the table. I must also mention that our table is counter top height the chairs are as tall as bar stools! He is such a monkey!

Brockton sitting in his stroller while it is folded up. It was quite a challenge to get him out.
